2024 Mens Olympic Basketball Qualification

Overview

The 2024 Mens Olympic Basketball Tournament qualification process began in September 2022 and concluded in 2024. Twelve teams qualified for the final tournament, which will be held in Paris, France.

Qualification Process

The qualification process consisted of three stages:

• FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournaments: Held in August 2023, these tournaments involved 40 countries that did not automatically qualify for the Olympic Games.
• FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments: Held between August 2023 and 2024, these tournaments involved 24 teams that advanced from the Pre-Qualifying Tournaments.
• Final Olympic Qualifying Tournament: Held in 2024, this tournament determined the final four teams to qualify for the Olympic Games.

Four teams have secured the final spots for the mens basketball tournament at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. They were decided at the 2024 Final Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
