The first-ever Drag Queen of the Year (DQOY) competition, which premiered in 2021, is returning for its third season. Created by Alaska, the pageant showcases a wide range of drag artists and performers from across the United States.

The 2023 DQOY competition will take place on Thursday, April 21 at the Gothic Theatre in Englewood, Colorado. The event will feature a star-studded cast of drag queens, including Alaska and Lola LeCroix.

The competition will be judged by a panel of experts from the drag community. The winner will receive a cash prize and the title of Drag Queen of the Year.
